HAMILTON, NEW ZEALAND – Following another year of determined, by design, work to continue the shift towards being recognised as a global multi-industry technology brand from its humble farm electric fence roots, Gallagher yet again cements its changing reputation with another success.
Technology Investment Network (TIN) has this week named the top ten companies by revenue and revenue growth for 2020.
Based on the highest dollar value increase in revenue, Gallagher has moved to number seven from number ten on the EY Ten Companies to Watch List and is ranked third on that list when filtered by revenue. In the TIN200 rankings, Gallagher has held its position at number five and remains the top privately-owned tech exporter on the list.
The TIN Report monitors the performance of New Zealand’s 200 (TIN100 and Next100) largest technology exporters in the areas of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), High-tech Manufacturing and Biotechnology.
“We’re really passionate about growing the tech export sector for the benefit of New Zealand and this result is a credit to our people throughout the world,” Deputy CEO & Executive Director Kahl Betham says. “Across the animal management, security, and fuel industries we operate in we’re proud to be delivering solutions that have a real impact.
“Even in these Covid-19 times, we’re investing heavily to further accelerate that journey. Just some of the things we’re doing right now include expanding our workforce throughout the world, further extending our investment in innovation, we’ve commenced construction of a new regional headquarters in the United Kingdom, and we’re codesigning a future of work programme with our people as we aim to further elevate our status as a great place to work,” Kahl adds.
Gallagher solutions can be found in over 160 countries around the world, the company is 82 years old and has over 1000 people supporting its growth.
Other companies on the lists include Datacom, Fisher & Paykel, Xero, Livestock Improvement Corp and Douglas Pharmaceuticals.
