Bridget Gallagher's Good Day
what a 5 year old eats in one day
This is an e-mail from my brother Kevin Gallagher talking about an
amazingly good day in the life of his 5 year old daughter - Bridget.
Today is a big day for Bridget because it is
the last day the pool is open and she is finally tall enough (48") to go
down the water slide. Jack has a buddy in 3rd grade who
isn't 48" tall. Yesterday was an even bigger day for Bridget.
We took in the Chicago Air and Water show down on the lakefront. We caught
the 9:10 train downtown, then the subway up north. We really had a terrific
time. I thought I'd share with you what Bridget ate all day in order of
consumption:
-
bowl
of Kellogg's corn pops
- 3 bites of vanilla long john
- spree candy
- gobstoppers (jaw breakers)
- 20 oz. 7-UP
- 1/2 hot dog w/ bun
- potato chips
- Fritos
- whole hot dog w/bun
- giant strawberry snow-cone
- Popsicle in shape of baseball mitt
w/gumball center
- m&m cookies (uncle Wayne brought)
- hot dog no bun
- some of my Pepsi
- 12 oz. can of Pepsi (wanted her own)
- strawberry pop on train and more gobstoppers
- finished vanilla long john sitting on Jack's br floor for last 10 hours
- piece if salami
- 2 bowls of chicken and rice soup
- bowl of chocolate ice cream
- 9:45p peanut butter and fluff sandwich
She slept in her clothes. Most of the above is
spilled down the front of
her Cubs t-shirt she wore yesterday. We're heading up to the shower right now.
We miss Mosie and Rita, but we're having a swell weekend.
Love, Kevin Jack and the Bridget.
